Moseley’s winger Mason Tonks scored a fine try which meant they were 13-16 on the score board going into dressing room at half-time. Buster Lawrence and Danny Wright along with one player from Sale were yellow carded for fighting early in the game.

Mose were helped by the boot of Clifford Hodgson who was on fine form as were Ravai Fatiaki, Jacques Le Roux and fullback Harry O’Brien. Game was level few minutes from the end. Last years crowd favourite James Williams who signed for Sale Sharks and loan to Sale missed couple penalties under pressure.
