Fortress Billesley Common! Home team BM keeps the 100% home record win. BM were first on the score sheet when Canterbury gave away penalty and BM’s prolific kicker Ben Palmer slotted in between the posts. Front rower James Tideswell scored first try for the home team which was duly converted by fly-half Palmer. Aaron Crofts scored a try on 32min of the game followed by wing Aquile Smith two minutes later for the hosts. At the interval the score was 25-7. After the break BM were playing up the slope which they found difficult to negotiate even though Canterbury’s couple of the players were yellow carded for infringements. Moseley didn’t add anything to their first-half score. Canterbury played well to come touching distance only to lose by 4 points. BM’s management team will be disappointed especially against lowly placed away team. Next away game is against second place team Rosslyn Park will be much tougher challenge on Sat 26/10/2019 at 3pm KO.
